Arthritis is a type of joint disorder that affects millions of people across the globe. A joint is a part of the body where two different bones are connected. Joints serve as a way to move body parts connected by its bones. Literally speaking, arthritis is an inflammation of one or more joints.

There are over 100 identified types of arthritis. Arthritis types ranges from cartilage wear and tear to associated inflammation resulting from an overactive immune system. There are so many arthritis types that it is one of the most common illness in the US.

  • Fatigue
  • Abnormalities of organs (heart, lungs, kidneys)

Arthritis Treatment

Treatment for arthritis ranges from physical therapy, paraffin wax dips, anti-inflammatory medication, surgical operations, cold-pack application, splinting and immune system-altering medications.
